European Android Users Stay Active in Cryptocurrency Apps During Q4 2023

As the year 2023 wound down, cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform continued to engage users across Europe. Data from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how the top five apps in this category performed in the fourth quarter.

CryptoTab Farm: Digital Gold, despite a fluctuating download trend, saw a peak of 456K downloads in the week of December 18 and a subsequent slight drop to 439K by year's end. Revenue showed a similar pattern with a rise to $9.2K in the final week, while weekly active users hovered around the 400K mark, suggesting a stable user base.

Meanwhile, CoinStats - Crypto Tracker demonstrated a robust increase in downloads, particularly in the week of December 4 with a high of 2.4M. Revenue also saw an uptick, reaching $4.6K during the Christmas week. The app maintained a strong weekly active user base, averaging around 85K to 90K users throughout the quarter.

3Commas: Crypto trading tools showed a more modest presence in Europe, with downloads peaking at 92K in mid-December. Revenue varied, with a notable spike of $3.2K in the week of November 20, followed by a decrease to $601 by the year's end.

GoMining experienced a significant surge in downloads in early December, reaching over 10M downloads. However, the app did not generate revenue until the last two weeks of the quarter, with a notable $5.4K in the final week. Weekly active users showed a steady increase, peaking at over 15K in early December.

Lastly, SocialGood:Crypto Rewards had a relatively stable quarter, with downloads reaching a high of 164K in the week of December 18. Revenue experienced minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with $410. Weekly active user counts ended on a high note with almost 5K users in the last week of December.
